Bharat Vikas Parishad, Salt Lake Branch, organised a meaningful service project of donating smart phones to visually impaired students with the aim of supporting their education, independence, and overall upliftment.
A special typing competition was organised where blind students demonstrated their remarkable skills. It was an inspiring experience to watch them follow dictation and type accurately on mobile screens with the help of special keyboards designed for visually challenged students.
Their confidence, dedication, and ability to adapt to technology left everyone deeply moved. The students, who came from different parts of West Bengal, also presented a grand cultural programme showcasing their talents and enthusiasm.
This initiative reflects the true spirit of Bharat Vikas Parishad — Sewa, Sanskar, and Samarpan — using technology as a bridge to create equal opportunities and empower specially-abled students.
