Celebration of Doctors’ Day ‘ 2026 & Eye Testing Camp

1st.July’ 2026 marks the Birth & Demise Anniversary Day of legendary Chief Minister of West Bengal Late Bidhan Chandra Roy . Today being the ” Doctors’Day , it was observed under the auspices of our branch at Dhaniakhali . On this occasion a ” Free eye testing camp was organised for the benefit of students in the campus of Shivai chandi Shree Ramakrishna Vidyapeeth at Dhaniakhali. Medical support services were generously extended by the Nayan Jyoti Eye Hospital, Tarakeswar, Hooghly.
Doctors, Optometrists , and allied Professionals delivered their best to make the Program successful. 150 students attended the camp to get their eyes tested for ailments; if any.
Our member from Dhaniakhali Sri.Koushik Sarkar narrated in brief the significance of the day and role of DR. Bidhan Chandra Roy for development of West Bengal after independence. He welcomed the medical team of Nayan Jyoti Hospital on behalf of BVP’S Hooghly branch and extended hospitality to all, who attended the event.
