West Bengal Prant

Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) is a national socio-cultural voluntary organisation founded on 12 January 1963, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, with the objective of organising socially conscious citizens for nation-building and service activities.

West Bengal Prant is one of the active state units of Bharat Vikas Parishad working to promote service, cultural values, social harmony, and national integration across the state.We are having 13 Branches across West Bengal , Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar.

Mission

To organise the elite, intellectuals and well-to-do citizens and motivate them to serve the poor, disabled, illiterate and underprivileged sections of society, not as charity but as a cultural duty of service.
